Sarah graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a first class honours degree in 2013. During her time at Huddersfield she studied classical saxophone with Sarah Markham. Whilst at Huddersfield Sarah developed an interest in contemporary music, and studied experimental music and free improvisation modules with Philip Thomas and Pierre Alexander Tremblay. Sarah has performed with the Edges ensemble at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and also commissioned and premiered a work by Chris Jolly as part of her final year recital.

Sarah co-founded and plays with the Regent Big Band. Sarah also performs as a singer in various projects.

A committed educator, Sarah works with Tameside Music Service and Derby & Derbyshire Music Partnership, teaching music to pupils of both primary and secondary school ages.
